This is actually how I got better results when I submit my blog to blog directories. The directory listings themselves don't actually generate more visitors. There is a bit of dispute about the proper number of blog directories to submit my blog to. Some people feel that I should submit my blog to as many as hundreds of blog directories, while others feel that this would be pointless. As is the norm in the industry, it appears that submission to 10 blog directories or even less is sufficient.
